Since December, Ruud van Avendonk joined Vencomatic Group as Area Sales Manager Netherlands. He supports Dutch poultry farmers and partners, builds relationships and sees opportunities in the market, focusing on central and northern Netherlands. Ruud about his new role: "What appeals to me most in this role is the contact with farmers and together practically looking for the best solution for both the chicken, farmer and the environment."
Ruud works closely with the partners Smits Agro and Brunekreef Techniek. Ruud: "For me, working together means knowing what you have on each other: doing what you say and saying what you do. If I promise something, I make sure it happens. And if something changes, I let them know immediately. That's how I prefer to work: open, honest and reliable."
Together with colleague Frank Bakermans, who focuses on the Southern Netherlands and works with partners Sleegers, Wouters Group-Vencotec, ETB van Lanen and ETB vd Beek, Vencomatic Group is well represented throughout the Netherlands. This allows the Dutch poultry market to be optimally served with the brands Vencomatic, Prinzen, Agro Supply and Van Gent.

Ruud grew up on a poultry farm in Bladel and knows the sector inside out. After studying electrical engineering and social educational assistance, he returned to the poultry sector.
Ruud: "I grew up in the poultry sector and have always followed with interest how the sector continues to develop to make it better for humans, animals and the environment. The combination of high-tech houses and the craftsmanship of the farmers is something I find special."
For the past nine years Ruud worked at Wouters Group-Vencotec as a project manager, where he was involved in various new construction and renovation projects. With his practical experience and project management knowledge, he supports poultry farmers in their business development and optimization of housing, climate and egg collection solutions for laying, rearing and propagation.
