The Netherlands- In Uden, the Van Stiphout family proudly runs Stipkip, a farm with 87,000 free-range hens that produce eggs in accordance with the Beter Leven 1-star standard. What once began as a mixed family farm with calves, pigs and breeding stock has grown into a modern laying poultry farm that continuously invests in efficiency and future-proof solutions.
The partnership with Vencomatic Group goes back generations. “Cor van de Ven used to walk in with just two wooden boards, and it hasn’t changed since,” says Jasper van Stiphout.
For the housing, Stipkip opted for the Bolegg Terrace system, a compact and open aviary system that ensures daily operations run efficiently and any system eggs are automatically brought to the front.
The Meggsius Count & Control and Meggsius Select ensure a streamlined process for collecting all eggs. The eggs are ready for processing every morning, while camera inspection automatically sorts out dirty and damaged eggs. With additional automation, such as an extra packer for second-grade eggs, Stipkip has a reliable and efficient egg flow. Jasper: “With these new innovations in poultry farming, you notice that operations run more smoothly and nothing is overlooked. Vencomatic Group is ahead of its time. They continue to develop, and I’m glad we’re part of that.”
