Van Gent Slat

Made of tropical hardwood, the Van Gent Slat provides a safe and comfortable place for the birds for resting. The slat floor makes it attractive for the hen to go to the nest and ensure clean feet before the hen enters the nest. It has a solution for raisable set-up, giving a lower step-up in the start of a flock and easy to raise later in the flock for more manure storage.

Clean environment

The durable Van Gent Slats are designed for a good grip for the birds and a clean living environment. The tropical hardwood is planed on four sides with round corners and assembles with stainless steel staples. The slats are easy and quick to install and remove. The flooring has a large free span by heavy duty slat support. The slat flooring is very stiff and robust to walk on for workers as well the slats are easy to clean.
