Venco Campus - our unique home 🏡

Our egg-shaped Venco Campus is our innovation hub for poultry farming worldwide. Again we welcomed many customers, dealers, students and industry partners to showcase our solutions. Besides innovation, this unique building is extremely sustainable, built according to the BREEAM technology. It is 3x better insulated and uses 3x less kWh per m2 vs traditional industrial buildings. Delivering a high RC (Resistance Construction) value of 7,4.

Our solar panels generated 1,439,000 kWh
2,879K kWh saved across our total gross floorspace of 37,790 m2
= saving 1,869 tons of CO2 emissions and nearly 72K trees.

Environmental impact 🌱

New installed ECO Unit heat exchangers reduced: 
-552K ton CO2 ≈ 20.9M trees saved
-1.721 tons of ammonia
-847 tons of fine dust
-71K tons of feed saved (2,373 trucks)

100K hrs of labour saved by using Meggsius Select & Meggsius Control
+4.7M hrs labour saved due to newly installed Prinzen equipment handling additional 44 M eggs per day
1.28K FTE saved for manual egg collecting due to newly automated housing equipment for 3.84 M broiler breeders
